How to search backlinks to your site using google.
Backlinks play an important role in determining your search engine rankings. They might rank you higher if they find that your site is being linked by many other sites on the internet. This is because it is obvious that your site is being talked about if people are linking to it means you are famous and important. Google assigns a number to your site on the scale of 10 based on the backlinks to your site. Experts say PR plays a crucial role in determining where your site is ranked in search results.

Google can be used to find the backlinks to your site. Following is the syntax to do that -
Search for “site:yoursite.com” on google and it will display a list of pages that are linking to your site.
Also note that just the number of backlinks is not important. The quality of the backlinks is also important. Quality of backlinks means the PR of the sites that are linking you. So dont just try to get the backlinks rather try to get few but quality links.
