Google is a very powerful tool using which you can find all the hidden treasures on the internet.Today we will see how to find free ebooks using google.

To achieve our goal we will try the following-

Go to Google’s webpage and use the following criteria to make a search-

intitle:index.of? ‘file extension’ ‘Name of item’ (without quotes)

ex:intitle:index.of? chm macgrawhill

This will hopefully give you a list of websites that are indexed by google having a list of chm ebooks published by macgrawhill.

Here is an alternative method to do the same- Make a search with the following string

+(”index of”) +(”/ebooks”|”/book”) +(chm|pdf|zip|rar) +macgrawhill

This will search for the “index of” titled pages for macgrawhill published ebooks.These are generally ftp sites where a lot of ebooks are uploaded by educational institutes.
